Default Greetings fellow denizens

I am a 58-year-old music enthusiast who seeks online entertainment. I am not yet too old and it's not yet too loud. But it's getting close. My ears are highly deficient after more than four decades of unfiltered rock concerts. But I am still out there.
I am a dedicated metalhead, but enjoy all sorts of music. Too old to understand rap and electronic dance music. Not serious enough for classical or jazz.
My favorite band is Nightwish. Primarily because of their outstanding musicianship and the fact that Floor Jansen has the most incredible rock voice on the planet.
I am on a constant search for new music and new bands. I have way too many CDs. Way too many.

Welcome to MB. Any more favorites? I haven't listened to Nightwish in a while but I remember liking them.

Hey man, welcome to the boards. You seem like a cool guy, though I'm almost positive you would hate a good majority of music I listen to. Besides Nightwish, what are you listening to these days? What's your favorite color? What was your hometown and what do you feel about it? And finally, if you were a dinosaur, what dinosaur would you be?
