Afro hair is hard to handle for sure. When I did have a full on afro the only way I could brush it is in the shower while it's wet. But it's worth it. Mine was a full on canopy. You don't want to mess with it. :P

GURL, there is a comb in my shower! Dreads was the easiest style I have had. But the style I have now is my favorite.

Dreads are pretty awesome. Especially the long ass ones. A friend of mine had them so long I could of used one as a skipping rope.
