It was. I consistently dyed it black for about 3 years.

I'm allergic to hair dye so I haven't colored since about the time that pic was taken. I'm actually a natural blonde.

the other day I tried to boil noodles and I left the fucking pan on an inactive burner for 10+ minutes while another one was burning away with nothing on it.

I'm very bright but the blonde is unavoidable.
