I am aware of my limitations as a white bitch, but I refuse to believe the squats aren’t working for me.

Like WWWP, this is me snapped off-guard by a walking companion while looking for something in the hills:- |

^^ Incorrect, squats absolutely work for glutes. If you google which muscles are involved in squats, glutes are listed as one of the primary muscles. They're not even secondary muscles involved. You don't even need google to tell you that, just try doing a big squat session, you're more likely to get muscle ache in your glutes than quads.

Sadly, it´s from about 40 years ago. I used to go hiking round the Lake District area in N W England, where the hills reach an impressive height (for England) of 950 metres and more. I think my photo was specifically at St.Sunday Crag: not the highest, but in among the big boys:- https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pr...zg66tJW8H8mUC4 https://www.andrewswalks.co.uk/wp-co...g/IMG_1536.jpg |
Gorgeous!

Yep! and of course a photo fails to capture the exhilaration of a cold wind and the feeling that you could walk forever. Having said that, I was only ever a day-hiker, heading back to the pubs and bed&breakfast houses in the evening, thank you very much!

Never heard anyone promote squats as a primary glute exercise although someone with a huge squat will probably have decent glutes. I do hip thrusts for glutes, that **** lights them up. |
