It's been a while. Dealing with some long-term complications of surgery but the situation has its perks, like furry friends, big ugly pillows and plenty of r&r.

Hi, Plank - good to see you too!

Emergency back surgery, nerve damage resulting in foot drop and wearing a leg brace. Lots of physical therapy but things are definitely improving. Hope all is well with you and Hanna!

Hi, Lisna - My niece's wedding took place and I was there in a brace (hey, that rhymed - give me a dime, lol). I spazzed out on making a speech, though - they took pity on me.

Thanks for the kind wishes, and yes, I'm steadily improving.
