He's obviously at a sports equipment store like Dicks, or maybe he's just in Target.

The set up looks like Sports Authority. My mom is in the recreation field. I've been in too many sporting goods stores.

Sports Authority is a great store. You can just spend an afternoon there skateboarding, playing basketball, minigolf, or the thousand other things they have in there huge stores.
