Default Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello, DarkRebel here - Dark Rebel on Plug.
The genres of music that I mainly listen to are: jazz, country, traditional pop, blues, rock and roll, new age and classical.
Yeah, I know, probably not what most here listens to; but whatever, it is what I like.

Welcome!

Did you find us through plug? I feel like I've seen you in our plug room before.

Also what are some of your favourite artists?

Saw you in Plug earlier this evening. Welcome to the board. I think you'll find that most people here who seem to have unusual taste actually have a solid admiration for traditional pop, blues, and rock & roll as well.

Welome aboard! I'm not sure what you mean by "traditional pop" but I like pop from a lot of different eras. And I love jazz and rock. And I dig blues, new age and classical. I think you'll find a lot of people who like a lot of different things here.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

@Frownland: I didn't find MB through Plug.
Just some random artists that I like - Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Waylon Jennings, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Yanni & Cameron Carpenter.

@Janszoon: Traditional Pop - Vocal jazz-oriented pop music highly popular in Western (and particularly American) cultures as the dominant commercial music style in the pre-rock & roll era. Mainly, traditional pop's repertoire is based on songs written by professional songwriters (standards) and performed by vocalists mostly accompanied by an orchestra or big band. [Definition from RYM]

@The Identity Matrix: Yes, I have given metal a try before. I was once big into metal. Through all the different stages of liking metal that I've been through, I'd have to say that the biggest was when I was into -core. My taste in music has evolved and I now lack a desire for metal.
