Cool Hi -snort-

Hi everyone

I'm James from the UK. I joined this forum mainly because I'm starting to take my own music more seriously and would like to discuss all kinds of music critically and to get some honest opinions on my work after I decide to release it.

I can appreciate all genres of music but I tend to stick with classic punk and folk punk like the clash, flogging molly ect.

I look forward to chatting with you all and gaining more of an insight into other musicians.

Welcome to MB. Just so you're aware, you have to wait till you're an established regular member of the forum before you can share your music. Otherwise you'll just get banned.

Yup. I'd wait until you hit 100 posts. Then you can throw your music at us. This is so people don't join just to have us be their test subjects. Stick around for a couple weeks and make engaging and thoughtful posts instead of just "i lik rollin stones" and you'll be fine.

I understand that, I'm not just here for promotion - I'd like to get to know other musicians and generally chat about music and music production :p

Good then. We got plenty of members who spam their ****ty music, but we just want to make sure that they'll be here tomorrow so we can **** on them back.

First of all, are you down with the Lovecraft or just a poseur? This is important.

Of course, I've been reading my way through the necronomicon for a while. I read call of Cthulhu on a whim a while ago and got sucked into the Lovecraftian universe.

Haunter in the Dark was awesome, but Colour Out of Space was the absolute ****.

Reminds me that I still need to finish Shadow over Innsmouth. And I been falling asleep while listening to an ebook of At the Mountains of Madness.

OMG you gotta make time for At the Mountains of Madness if no other Lovecraft story. It's ****ing wild.
