Here's two. Stellar pop/rock songwriting.

Greg Rolie and Steve Perry killing it vocally. You need this album Bat.

The only Journey you'll ever need in your life.

So the only two people in the world that doesn't like Journey are you and Judge Smails.

The song I posted is basically a noise punk track.

My name is Dee. My mom raised me on classic rock and I inherited her love for GNR, AC/DC, Journey, Priest, Maiden... but then I discovered Death, Pestilence, Bolt Thrower, Obituary... those kinds of bands. But I also have a soft spot for Kendrick Lamar and Logic (don't tell my friends).

I like stupid humor and sarcasm. Big Rick and Morty fan and even though I love zombie movies and don't mind gore, I don't like scary movies. I probably like animals more than I like people. So maybe I'll just go back to lurking like a creeper.
Do you still visit the forum? You haven't posted in a bit, but I'll give recing a try nonetheless.

Since you're into classic death metal, have you gotten into any of Hypocrisy's classic records? Their first two are really great, I still need to check out their third which is supposedly also good. Then after those records they went on to prog-lite melodeath which I still liked, but not as much as their classics.

Here are some tracks from their first two.

Hey, thanks! I do still creep around every now and then. If my brain cells aren't failing me, I think they toured with Suffocation a billion years ago, give or take a couple of years. I sometimes go to shows even if I have never heard of some of the bands playing. Like I recently swung by a Vader show and had no idea who the other bands were... Apparently I need to research or something before I just show up.

Were the other bands bad or something? Very different from Vader? I don't know Vader but I've both heard good and bad things about them, I'll check them out some time soon, and am open to any recs of their material from you if you wish to give any recommendations to me.

Here are some other cool old-school death metal songs/bands.

What other types of metal are you into? Are you still into heavy metal like Iron Maiden? If so, are you into any power metal like Blind Guardian, or Persuader? Any black metal catch your interest?
