You bring this up a lot but I don't think that it's a point that anyone's really used against you. I mean there were times when I've explained the difference between a cliched band and the origin point of that cliche, but do you really see it that often here?

Tbh, it's more of a general music snob thing than an MB thing.

You and Elph's thing with Zeppelin and Heart earlier today had me wondering for a moment if you were making a variant of that argument though.

Well, it is pretty funny to dig a band that admits to aping Zeppelin as much as they can while also despising Zeppelin.

Like half the time I haven't like an Anteater rec, he's tried to make it seem like it's weird that I don't like it because x artist that I like is vaguely similar in some way.
