The writing without Rog is kinda meh though
Yes, Roger was a great lyricist. I'm sure Gilmour would agree with that too. It's a pity that they couldn't find a way to continue working together.

They should make an acoustic album.

I have a lot of favorite musicians: Sarah Jarosz, Soccer Mommy, The Verve, The B-52's, Pink Floyd, Vive La Fete, Snail Mail, The Midnight, Julien Baker, The Police, Curve, Juliana Hatfield, The Hold Steady, Francoise Hardy, Placebo, Berlin, Phoebe Bridgers, The Mamas And The Papas, Annalisa (an Italian pop singer), The Smashing Pumpkins, Vanessa Paradis, [B]Paul Westerberg, Chrome, Mazzy Star and many more...
I like several of those bands & artists too. Francoise Hardy, oui but of course. Chrome is an interesting choice, color me impressed.

I have an interest European bands. I'm not familiar with Vive La Fete tho. I can't say I know any band from Belgium, maybe a few songs by Wixel. The bands I like come from Eastern Europe, Scandinavian countries and a few from Finland and France. I'm a fan of Eastern European Shoegaze. e.g. The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa. The most recent album I found was by COSme from Russia. I like French Films from Finland. The Scandinavian bands I like are mostly indie e.g. The Cardigans etc. etc.

Can't place who's who in the 90s or 00s etc. I like Parker Posey. She was in Dazed in Confused that was a 90s flick, she was also in Best in Show and Josie and the Pussycats.

Yes I like The Cardigans too! I have most of their albums.

Parkey Posey is cool, although I haven't seen any of her films for a long time. I need to watch Dazed And Confused again, I haven't seen it since it originally came out in the theaters back in 1993.
