Default Ain't Nothing But A Blues Thang

Are there any J Geils Band fans still alive and kicking out there? Or is it just me blasting Blow Your Face Out when I drive my ratty tatty Ford down to the Co-op?

Hello and welcome to MB.

I haven't listen to them in a while but when I was a kid Full House was one of my favorite albums.

Nice to be reminded of someone driving a "ratty tatty Ford down to the Co-op". Such is life in many towns of the UK!

J Geils Band passed me by back in the day, but I recognise this track, which I've just found based on your rec:-

Any other bands you listen to on your way to the Co-op, WJ Dodd?

Didn't they do Freeze Frame? Old MTV staple. Never think of them as a Blues Band. Need to hear more of their stuff.

They were like many other bands and artists at the time that adopted an 80s sound.
