Music and wine enthusiast from Morocco
Hello, I hope everyone is doing well amidst these trying times.
I'm a 29 year old male from Morocco who is a nerd and who enjoys a variety of media including music, films, anime and novels. I'm also quite the wine (and a variety of other alcoholic beverages) enthusiast, so I enjoy talking about those as well. I'm also gay, but as you can imagine, I'm not really open about my sexuality, considering where I live. However, I'm out to a handful of close friends and I've been in a loving relationship for two years now. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. |

Hi, pleased to meet you (and I'm always happy to meet David Bowie fans). And cool to have a member from Morocco. In terms of music this place is very versatile, with knowledge of music from all over the world, but it's quite a small community and most of the members are American or British. Also I'm really glad and impressed to hear that you came out and found love in an environment which isn't gay-friendly. You'll find that this forum actually is actually pretty gay, so that's nice.

Wow, your English is fantastic. Normally the maghrebis are focused more on French I guess.
Also, sympathies to your situation, I'm a gay Croatian living and working in a majority Muslim country where "homosexuality" is illegal (well technically anal and oral sex is illegal) so I definitely pick and choose who I come out to (mostly non-Muslim people). Also, am hoping to visit your country one day soon, it seems to be by far the most interesting in North Africa. Hope you stick around!
