I don't put on blues when I have the blues either.

I try:
Thom Yorke/Radiohead or Tori Amos - To let the blues overwhelm me.
The Mars Volta - To turn the blues into an angry/meloncholy kind of mood.

I don't normally try to change my mood with music, I try to further it. A little destructive at times but that's the way I like it.

A couple of Thom Yorke songs that get me a little blue:
The Tourist - Radiohead
Rabbit In Your Headlights - Unkle
How to disappear completely - Radiohead

Because I chose to play the fool in a six-piece band,
First-night nerves every one-night stand.
I should be glad to be so inclined.
What a waste! What a waste!
But I don't mind.
