Angry sexism + improvisation...

There's a certain choir teacher in my school who has been claiming all over the place that women can't improvise anything in jazz... in alliance with our guitar + bass teacher we showed him the Diana Krall, Live in Paris DVD, yet he remained unconvinced...
What do you think about this subject (sexism in jazz)?

two names to give your incompetent, overpaid choir teacher: 1. Bessie Smith
2. Billie Holiday
The end.

Just tell him to feck off... If he wants to remain arrogant for the rest of his life, then let him. He'll get what he deserves in the end.
