Of course, those who haven't are pitiful, this woman was simply awesome, she was so good it was scary.

Bessie Smith does it for me in all the right ways. At first I thought "wow this is terribly bare-bones music" but in retrospect it's really charming and extremely emotional. Her voice is amazing, too, and sometimes the tracks throw me for a loop (is it Haunted House Blues that has that crazy sound in it?).
