My favorite jazz standard is free jazz. There is just something about free jazz that makes my mind feel like pudding.

Take the A' Train. Although my favorite jazz tune every is "Weather Bird" by Louis Armstrong and Earl Hines. Two of the greatest musicians at their respective instruments having a little dance together. It's marvelous stuff.

I agree with the two fellows on the previous page who said Take Five. Brubeck's usually what I turn on when I'm in a dancing (or jazzy) mood.
