What's your favorite jazz standard?

Simple question. Can be any genre of jazz that you like.

My vote goes to Daahoud

Either "Autumn Leaves" or "Summertime" because I can play them on guitar.

Aren't those classical pieces? I'm not sure. I remember playing them on guitar as well while learning notation, the very first ones because they were so easy. Assumed it and the rest were some 19th century church music or the other.:afro:

Classical music? No, they're definitely two of the most well known jazz standards and both from the 20th century. "Summertime" is from Porgy and Bess and "Falling Leaves" was a French pop song originally. Neither has any religious connection.
