Ah, this is very hard....but at the moment I'd say

Fever and Mirrors - Bright Eyes
An Elliott Smith album (Don't make me choose one)
Wind in the Wires - Patrick Wolf
Blacksheep Boy - Okkervill River
Viva Hate - Morrisey

And for victuals, I would take Ice Cream and Alcohol

And if my other thing can't be a person, I would bring The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde to keep me occupied.

I have no idea, if I could just have all the Oasis and Beatle albums i'd be happy.

Green Carnation - Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
Gene Krupa - The Instrumental Mr.Krupa
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Cooler Kids - Punk Debutante

Food? Assuming I have of keeping it fresh and heating it up I'd go with tacos.

Thing? A boat so I can get off the island.

It doesn't matter too much with me because I'd probably take Low over most of the Bowie compilations I've seen. Well maybe not the Best of Bowie, but definitely the singles compilations.

But yeah, I'd say some compilations are definitely cheating... like the 5 cd Django Reindhart Classic Early Recordings, the 4 disc CCR boxset compilation, the 8 cd Kraftwerk boxset... maybe we should draw the line at a certain number of CDs... say 2 or 3?
