try me, dont know why but i prefer to not sleep,, morning is for sleeping not night

night is for parties, video games, horrors, energy drinks and music :)

IWP 06-30-2009 04:39 AM

That's a typical night at my friend's house, only if you add drugs into that too.

captured 06-30-2009 04:39 AM

aha do not forget the drugs haha

sleep is over rated :/

IWP 06-30-2009 04:41 AM

Pretty much. Unfortenatly, I need it the night before work (on days that I do work that is.

captured 06-30-2009 04:47 AM

aww thats true...party hard work hard

unfortunately this is difficult to do because when you party so hard the night before you get stoned and the next day cant work hard, at work. :/

IWP 06-30-2009 05:02 AM

I came into work when I was still rolling on ectacsy, and I was still coming down from two hits of acid. However, all I do is deliver pizza so it wasn't really that hard.

captured 06-30-2009 05:23 AM

XD sounds like a good system you got going there

Astronomer 06-30-2009 06:30 AM

Rar, you spelt insomnia wrong!

I have insomnia and my housemates are too loud to let me get to sleep to instead I spend all night picking up on people's bad grammar in thread titles.

Scarlett O'Hara 06-30-2009 07:20 AM

LOL ^ I used to be like that but my flatmates are awesome this year and don't really end up being very noisey 11pm onwards. It's currently 1.16am and I am very tired. I, unlike you guys will probably sleep. Except maybe have to have powder room visits for ladies business 3 times a night. FECK!

djchameleon 06-30-2009 07:23 AM

I don't consider myself an insomniac....i'm just a night person....I get the privilege of being able to sleep during the day and whenever I feel tired and I do so.

adidasss 06-30-2009 07:33 AM

As incredible as it sounds, we do have an insomnia thread. It's amazing, largely because it was made by me...The OTHER, SUPER-official insomnia thread (a.k.a. this forum is so awesome, EVERYTHING'S been done at least twice before).

The spooky thing about this is that you made your insomnia thread at 5 AM and this guy made his at 5, too

Anyway, everybody quit complaining about your insomnia and just smoke a bowl already

Whoa, breaking your curfew :nono:. You should just download when your sleeping, thats what I do unless I somewhat wish to wait half an hour for a page to load.

Ricochet~kun 06-30-2009 08:30 AM

omg... i cant ever sleep, ive gone for 3 days before without sleep... and i hate it, but whatever.

as in me actually playing the music... melodic techno has become my life...

mr. goth glam 06-30-2009 08:53 AM

I do seem to get a lot of writing done when I can't sleep.

I've actually leveled off a little into three or four hours a night, which is extraordinary for me, but that's coming off of a long stretch (four months) where I was lucky to get in even an hour.

Zarko 06-30-2009 09:50 AM

Yeah I've written a whole bunch when tired as hell.

After finally getting some sleep I realise its all incoherent crap :p:

I do love reading a funny website when tired as hell though... Makes it so much funnier

Play some late night blues harmonica.

A little typo makes all the difference. =P

hitfrankthetank 07-13-2009 05:40 AM

Do some meditation. Go on the internet there's like sleep meditation stuff it kind of works. It gets your head focused and calmed.

adidasss 07-13-2009 05:55 AM

Or just take a sleeping pill!

FETCHER. 08-09-2009 07:14 PM

i have the same problem, like now am absolutely shatterd but i cant sleep :( if i get up at 7 for work i wont sleep till 3/4ish the next morning :(

Akira 08-09-2009 07:15 PM

I have hypersomnia, which is even more annoying. But sleep is overrated, lol.

Scarlett O'Hara 12-21-2010 09:04 AM

I totally have it tonight, hence my poetry. It's 5am and I can't sleep. Sitting at the computer doesn't help much but it's so hot and boring!! Hard to believe the country is getting to mid 30's in degrees Celsius.

adidasss 12-21-2010 12:27 PM

How fitting this would be brought up now, I've decided to take a break from sleeping pills and lemme tell ya, it is a bitch going to sleep the ol' natural way. Very inconvenient to have to roll around the bed for a few hours before finally catching some (fitful) sleep, what a giant waste of time...>:[

Have you tried adjusting your workout regimine and diet to fit your sleep needs?

adidasss 12-21-2010 12:59 PM

I've only been off sleeping pills for a few days, I'm sure I'll develop some sort of rhythm eventually. I doubt it'll ever be as convenient as popping a few sleeping pills and being out like a light within 10 minutes...and the buzz, the sweet sweet buzz...*drug fiend*. If it weren't for my utter irresponsibility and rising tolerance levels, I'd be on them forever and ever...:\

I had the same problem when I quit smoking weed. I just started working out a lot more often and a lot more intense. Had me sleeping like a baby in a week.

Same here, although it took me a little longer. A good days work/workout definitely puts anyone to sleep. I have found that if you workout and get physically tired AND smoke you sleep like 2 babies.

spacetruckers99 12-22-2010 07:25 AM

I'm having insomnia also for the longest time ever. I can't sleep till 2-3 am and just lie in bed thinking of random stuff.
Sucks to be me i guess?

Smoke some weed?

zachsd 12-23-2010 03:45 AM

Yeah, you can even get a medical marijuana card for "insomnia". And those medical marijuana clubs are ****ing amazing.

Oh wait, but you have to live in California. Hah.

someonecompletelyrandom 12-23-2010 03:51 AM

File thread under "currently suffering".

zachsd 12-23-2010 04:00 AM

Where do you live, Conan? I'm assuming the U.S., and if you're in the U.S. then probably the Pacific Time Zone... which in that case would mean I'm suffering to the same extent you are!
