I'm starting with the Pastryarchy, because as you know, I am both a huge coffee and a huge beer fan....

It's tasty, but not as much distinctly 'macchiato' flavor as I had hoped. It tastes just like a generic coffee stout.

On that note, I'd like to recommend the PBR Hard Coffee if anyone hasn't had it. It hit the shelves near me earlier this year and I grab it once in awhile, quite tasty. Definitely more coffee than beer.

I don't know if it's made anymore, but the Mill street brewery made a coffee porter. The brewery used coffee beans from the coffee shop next door, Balzac I think it was called. It was really nice.

I'll have to keep an eye for it. I like when local businesses partner up like that.

Mill st. is now owned by Anheiser-Busch. It may be more visible outside of Ontario.

Reporting in that 'Original Sin' was very tasty. I definitely have an affinity for ciders as well as beers. I think it's pretty big in my area, there are a whole lot of varieties available.

Saving the Brewdog for now. We got a few of them for other maiden fans, and I'd like us to drink them all together if possible.

Any fans of Scotch ales here? I always try em when I find em but they're not exactly popular it seems.

Founders does my favorite Scotch ale, the Dirty Bastard.

I've had and enjoy that. Founders does a lot of really solid work. I really enjoy their porter too.

I'm not familiar with Founders. I've had Scotch ale before. It's not something I'll readily grab off the shelf. If someone offered me one, I would not refuse it.
