Broken_Angel 11-03-2005 10:32 AM

i agree 'coz id rather dress like a chav 'coz you get the d.ick head chavs who batter you for looking like a ""Mosher"" so id rather dress like a chav..and its not up to them what you look like

oh well get over it

ArtistInTheAmbulance 11-03-2005 10:58 AM

Of course you can wear what you want. But, if you don't want to get comments, then don't wear anything that's begging to be commented on. 'Tis that simple.

ladyluckrules 11-03-2005 11:03 AM

Just wear what the hell you want.
And avoid McDonalds if you're that fecked about chavs.

Fenixpunk 11-03-2005 11:11 AM

if you dont care about the way you dress, why even bother caring what other people might think?

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 11-03-2005 11:22 AM

i could give a crap less what other people think about what i wear. just as long as i dont look like a total fool and im comfortable..other people can shove their opinions up their asses..

what are chavs by the way? ive never heard that expression.

xholx 11-03-2005 11:26 AM

yer i no ppl wear what they want but don't youthink you wear what you do coz of the music you listen to?dnt u fink it influences the clothes u wear depending on wich genre

So therefore you're dressing like that to get a response. SO, why does it bother you that they give you comments? Im so lost here.

Sneer 11-03-2005 01:29 PM

isnt she saying i just wanted to see what others thought in the thread? personally, dress how you like when you like- IF you like.

judas_priest 11-03-2005 02:07 PM

I wear metal stuff, so I suppose the music I listen to does affect what I wear.

Exactly what I think. I wear bright, girlie clothes, yet I love metal and rock etc. Labels can go **** themselves.

Maybe in highschool you might struggle, it's all, who's wearing the latest brands? I'm glad I have been at a school with uniform, it saved so much money.

why?? cause the world is full of stereotypical A.ss.holes, that think cause you drees a certain way that ur this horrible person. because you dress different

Merkaba 11-04-2005 12:39 PM

I don't dress too out there, I've never felt the need. You'll always be noticed by someone who is a fashion critic so you may as well just dress the way you want.

The most out there clothing item I have is this pair of Rusty board shorts, They are highlighter green and blind people on a sunny day. Look out!

Spikey 11-04-2005 01:32 PM

metal - metal detectors at customs? :)

judas_priest 11-04-2005 01:40 PM

Lol!!!:D

Hypnotised or Mesmerized 11-04-2005 01:53 PM

Well i dress the way i want but a lot of my clothes are based on the music i listen to.
But it isn't because of the music i wear them. I love the way my clothes look and how i dress cause i wouldn't wear them if i didn't but it's great it reflects on the music.
The chavs at my school can't stand people wearing anything but matching tracksuits and bling bling as they call it.
So me and ma mates get a lot of hassle and the normal bullying but i don't let it get on top of me.
Although my friend committed suicide a few weeks ago because of bullies and i am so happy she didn't die cause i don't know what i would've done. All because we don't want to follow their way of life or look like clones of them.

And about metal detectors i can't even get through the security things at certain theme parks without having to remove the belt off my skirt or trousers or my chains.
As for the airport in Turkey there are loads of security checks to go through so just as i have put ma belt back on i have to remove it again.

riseagainstrocks 11-04-2005 02:00 PM

I wear tight pants (Levi 30,32 slim), band shirts, and zip up hoodies.

I do not have a scene haircut nor do I wear girl clothes. Do I get **** for my dress? on occasion from the local "thugz" but 99% of the time I make a joke about it. I'll say something like I'd be golden in New Orleans right now, they laugh, I laugh and there is an understanding.

If it bothers you so bad, than don't dress like that. If you like those clothes than suck it up.

judas_priest 11-04-2005 02:01 PM

Lol- I dont wear actual "metal" stuff, just t-shirts with metal bands on them, wristbands, headband etc. I agree with you about dressing the way you want, and I also like my clothes and think it's cool that they represent my taste in music.
There's chavs in my school too, and I do kinda stand out, but I dont really get hassle about it. It's such a shame about your friend- is she okay now?

Hypnotised or Mesmerized 11-04-2005 02:05 PM

Yeah she's okay but they are giving her anti depressants and to me she isn't the same person
She hardly smiles now and i don't really know what to do
She gets criticised for everything she does.
What way she wears her hair or what trousers she wears why don't they just give her a break you know.
Any suggestions how to cheer her up i'm quite worried

anticipation 11-04-2005 02:36 PM

I dress in ripped up clothes, so it looks like i just got mauled by a bear. so people dont give me a lot of ****.

blackTshirt 11-04-2005 03:00 PM

the way i dress doesn't "offend" anyone
like teachers are only pissed off if you wear jeans that are too low and shirts that are too small.. and i usually try to wear my low jeans with my longer shirts so it's all good :D

though i understand teachers that get mad when they see little girls looking like hookers in school.. it's just not right, even though it has nothing to do with the grade they should get.. like the way you dress shouldn't affect that.. but it's wrong to dress and wear as much make up like britney spears when you're 13.. it does affect your brain a lot

but regarding "rockers" and "hip hoppers" i don't think they really bother anyone with their appearance
though i think it's overrated... to dress in a certain way and call yourself a rocker just cause you listen to rock.. i think rockers are those who make rock music.... not those who wear an iron maiden shirt...

I'm wearing an Iron Maiden shirt right now-lol. I wear rock shirts because I love the music so much that it reflects who i am.

blackTshirt 11-04-2005 03:06 PM

that's good
you know what i meant
that i wasn't talking 'bout you
hehe
like it's the same kinda thing when you see a kid wearing a south park shirt and you're all excited and he's like "oh.. those cartoons" and you go like "YOU F*CK THEY'RE NOT JUST CARTOONS"

that kinda thing
