Scarlett O'Hara 11-16-2005 07:30 PM

Life doesn't suck, people just suck at it!

mosesandtherubberducky 11-16-2005 07:52 PM

he wasn't saying life sucks but today sucks and my hand still hurts damnit

Scarlett O'Hara 11-16-2005 07:56 PM

I know that, it was a general statement.

mosesandtherubberducky 11-17-2005 11:53 AM

you have a point. to many people bitch about how thier life sucks when they haven't even asked the person next to them what is going on in theirs. and most of them don't have any problems most of them are off quite well but they don't think about the home less or AIDs patients. im happy where i am and hope that i don't end up like the kind of people i just ranted about

I left my car keys, my wallet, and a cd player and cds in my car and someone took my 2ft by 2ft picture, which is worth nothing! my car is probably the dirtiest and it has no radio or even a cup holder. I think my art is the only thing worth anything to me, and would pay anything in the amount wanted for it back. materials can go on not missed but I created that for myself and its rediculous that someone would take it and not my car, money,or cd player.

Things could always be worse.

Always.

crimepartner 11-17-2005 12:13 PM

I dont see it that way, I think Ive been through every non material loss available. maybe people go homeless because they realize that everything in society is worth nothing in the big picture.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 11-17-2005 12:16 PM

I see it that way. I may be a completely deluded optimist, but that's how I look at things when something depressing or irritating happens.. Because things could always be worse. They could be better, granted, but happiness is a state of mind so really, you're the one that decides when things get better for you.

Murphy's Law says that what can go wrong probably will go wrong.

Artist holds the same opinion as me I think it's upto you to look at things in your choice of light. Is the glass half empty or half full?
