Dumb law that. People know that theres gonna be smokers when they apply for the job. If you don't want the smoke, don't apply for the job, work at Starbucks or something.

I very rarely venture out to the pub nowadays. It's pointless to go for a brew only to spend the majority of your night standing on the footpath like a social leper.

I think it's great that its non-smoking in pubs, I have the choice to not passive smoke and get cancer just because I want to go out and dance.

^ And then theres that side to things, which I agree with too.

I can see where smokers are coming from but I like being cancer free like Vanilla too. I am truly devided unless I look out for number 1...which is me. And in that case I'd rather see the smoke stay outside.

I think it's great how they are promoting smoke-freeness, it will help people quit and stop them smoking infront of children.

Even if there was a vote, it would be less than 25% of the country that would support smoking.

That's actually a little ignorant. If someone had a passion for bartending, and hated smoking, isn't that unfair that they would miss out on an opportunity to do something they love?

That goes both ways you know.I think it's a little ignorant that smokers are treated like scum.

what fascinates me is that if you're drug dependant or alcohol dependant, it's classified as an illness whereas if you're nicotine dependant it's nothing more than a filthy habit.
