We had forum awards on another forum I posted on. We found the best way to do it was to pick a mod to count the votes and everyone emailed them to that mod who then counted them and announced them on Christmas eve; with so many members it might be an idea to vote once to find the main nominees and then a second time from the nominations to find the winner.
