EDIT: I just want to say that I'm not against the sXe lifestyle, I'm against the fact that the people who live the lifestyle have given themselves a label

They dont call themselves sXe and the majority of actual straight edge people dislike sXe like the majority of people that listen to hardcore hate it being reffered to as hXc and are you also saying christian's are all eltists? and americans? and naming yourself anything other then your real name is eltist?

Having a stance on drugs, alcohol and casual sex isn't the same as a complex religious belief system or a nationality.

15 year old kids giving up hanging around in shop doorways & not writing in text speak , now thats an accomplishment,

It gives the idea that you don't have to do drugs, alcohol and sex to have fun, or live it up. I think it's a positive thing.
