meaning yes i understood what you were saying and instead of saying 'you are right vanilla, i was being ignorant of the plight of the heroin kids' i decided to say that in a more abstract way. by making up my location as in an ivory tower, ay up high above everyone else( not caring about them) and saying that my fingers were in my ears ( meaning i dont listen to anyones problems and dont care about whats going on ) i admitted my own ignorance to you.

I never said you were ignorant. I was just saying that you can't pick and choose when it comes to caring.

It maybe hardly a reason by i know a crapload of kids who come from broken homes and do it, regardless of your opinion on it people still do it and its a problem.
