and it is the 6th in the States |
Is it going to be like Saw?
Oh, the 6th, thanks rar. |
My friend told me he's taking me to it tommorow.
I'm .. scared. |
I don't think it will be as psychological as saw which was really well thought out, and by all definitions, a greek tragedy.
Hostel looks like over the top violence, but as they say, it scares you more when you know its coming. When they screened it at a film festivel in Toronto, they had to bring two ambulances for people who got sick during the viewing. |

What was wrong with the acting, I honestly don't recall it being so bad

Cary Elwes = Never moving past Robin Hood: Men In Tights.
He just didn't do it for me. Overly melo-dramatic. Everyone else was quite good however. |
THIS IS EASILY THE MOST GRUESOME MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN.
Not the greatest story line, but it's a decent plot. Lots of titties and sex, almost the entire first 20 minutes. But when it gets to the graphic stuff, I had that throw up feeling. I can easily see why people had to have ambulances come. Tarentino does a decent job while making sure it's not too much over the top by adding some comedic interventions. It's a wild ass movie, and I suggest anyone go see it (but not those with too faint of heart...it's a waste of money. I brought a girl and she paid 8.50 to stare at her hand in front of her face for about an hour of the movie) |
