Overratted? Underrated?

I applaude them for doing something different rather than go the easy way & write Elephant Mk2.However if you`re going to make an experimental album in a different direction not all the experiments will pay off.
When I heard it was going to be a departure from the norm I was looking forward to it , when I heard it I didn`t think much of it worked.

I think their albums work strangely. When I first heard Elephant I hated it, but when I gave it some time I realised it was a masterpiece of music. The same with Get Behind Me Satan. When I heard that I hated it, but listened to it more and yet again it paid off. The only thing I dislike about it is the title. 'Get Behind Me Satan'? Did one of the producers teenage sons come up with that? Idea for next title-Slit my wrists, Devil.

I always thought Tool got the perfect amount of attention. You're either a fan or you hate them usually, they are never forced upon you or overplayed.
