Wait, you don't pay road tax on LPG there and the fuel is cheaper? What are you still doing driving on petrol . Get a Vauxhall, they are great on LPG .

I keep forgetting what you drive. What did you drive again?

My car cost me about 850 dollars. It's got some dents but it drives very well. Mileage is reasonable, about 112500miles. These Peugeot engines are pretty much indestructable so I'm not too worried about that.
Insurance is about 250 dollars a year, road tax about the same.
Fuel on the contrary... I pay 1.56 euro's a liter in Germany (overhere it's about 10 cents more expensive).
A gallon is 4,55 litres. So I pay 7 euro's per gallon, which is about 9 dollar a gallon. So that's insane.
Thats pretty cheap! I have some friends who seem to pay almost that much a month!

I've got a Ford Fiesta. I love her <3 old lass. I'm not much of a fan of Vauxhall. My brother worked for them as a mechanic and he said they were pretty problematic. The newer models anyway. its too expensive to convert your car to LPG otherwise I'm sure everyone would do it haha. So unfortunately for me my next car will be a petrol again.

My mechanic friend also calls my car 'the snow mobile' because she's a champion in the snow cos of her super skinny tyres .

Internet ad. 750 euro's. It's actually the most expensive car I've ever bought. I don't mind driving an old car

Haha, I never talk about newer cars. The old Corsa's and Astra's were pretty good, I must say.
When it comes to Fiësta's, there's a range of Fiësta's (1991 --> 2000 if I'm not mistaken) that's known for a lot of problems here, too. I've stopped caring about what other people say because if I were to believe what they say, a Citroën wouldn't even make it to the corner of the street. And they do.

Ford's proper cheap to fix here, I've had one or two things go wrong with her in the past almost two years and they've never been more expensive than £40 and I got my brakes, discs and calipers all done in one. cheap as chips!

Brand new brakes discs and a scrap caliper. Which is really cheap.
