Yes you did, you said that I couldn't talk because of a thread.

I never said I was better than someone younger, I thought that there might be more maturity in the older group, but I admit I didn't think into it enough.

alright she apologized so let's just lay off her and get back to topic. sometimes these threads just become useless flaming things. i mean you dont have to get angry at everyone. what you could have done was just replied 'no thats a bad idea. i don't agree' instead of getting all pissy. mature people dont get angry over little things. thats probably one of the things that would be missing in the 16+ forum is that annoying whiny childish insulting manner.

I post proper threads in the music forums AND sometimes I post silly stuff , I don`t see what the problem with that is ,sometimes I like to have a laugh & a joke rather than discussing music. That was the whole point of the lounge in the first place.

It`s the people who ONLY post stupid stuff that is the problem , I wouldn`t call Vanilla one of those by any means.

Sorry if I am being pushing but what do you think about my chat room idea? I have seen it being done in another forum.

I second that, some people who don't post in the music forum contribute to the lounge postively (blueeyedsuicide, vanilla, blackT) as opposed to some others who just contribute to the lounge but do it badly.

Then I would have been asked for reasons as to why I think it was a bad idea.
I avoided that by giving my reasons in my first post.
And she did say she underthought it. I agree, and I wasnt going to reply to her.
Then you come along.
I'm sorry, is having reasons to back an argument childish?
I doubt that "whiny childish insults" would be absent in a 16+ forum

Thanks, and just to clarify, I do like posting in some of the music forums, just not a majority of the time.

the way you argued was to insult her for threads she had made previously which has nothing to do with her suggestion and really the threads she has made are nowhere near as annoying as the tonnes of other ones somepeople push out by the minute.

I specified a single thread she made.
The reason I did this was to convey the point that just because she is older than me, doesn't mean she is a more mature, more valuable poster.

Yip I think that has explained what I was doing, now let's get back on topic again, to the more important matter at hand.
