regardless of the fact if the boy said it first, the teacher should definetly get fired, he's a teacher, an employee of the state and has no buisness using that kind of language....he's supposed to be setting an example....and the description of the situation in which he used it implies arogance on his part....

saying "you pussy ass nigga" i can see being a inslut.. but saying sup nigga or in any type of forum that shows joking. or friendley like actions then i can see it being offensive to some but to most it shouldn't be a and if it is there just looking for a fight cause some drama and gain attention..

but in saying that.. some teachers GOOD teachers not only try to teach there students they try to fit in, in some ways try to befriend there students so there students will be more comfortable and if all his students are refering to each other like that in a friendly manner the teacher probably tried to do the same thing.

also the child didn't seem to care to much, watching him, he didn't seem to be very upset, non of them did really.. he was trying to gain attention maybe it goes more in depth between him and that student who knows. but the student did not seem upset. also if the teacher was really like that then howcome it wasn't reported a long time ago i mean if the teacher was saying nigga's in bad ways.. other then the way he said he had done it. that hole tape didn't surprise me at all.

perhapse, but in this case it pretty clear that the teacher didn't have that kind of relationship with the student....

maybe not with that sturdent but with some of them yes which porpbalby made him think well this kid is no different from the rest of the students i'll joke around the same way.. just so happens this happened.. cause i highly doubt that this was the first time the teacher joked around like that with a student..

I agree completly, regardless of peoples opinion of the word, its more harmful than beneficial.

I did find it odd that the reporter they sent was black. I feel she did well but I think I'd have a hard time staying objective to something like that. I mean, the guys an idiot, you can tell by the way he says it during the interview, his hesitation before hand, his almost commedic way of repeating it that he's uneasy about it. He knows, and while I think by using it as a reply to a statement that used it originally isn't aweful, I agree whole-heartedly agree with Adidasss.

i'm watching oprah right now and in one minute she pretty much explained it perfectly....
in all the videos, songs.. actaull normal black people let it be seen that they can all refer to each other as nigga's and whatever else.. and with this music and all those "black" movies bbeing shown around the world, its coming off as ok for other racese to be the same way.. so when a black perosn freaks out for a white person going in a friendly way saying "sup nigga" and for a black person to get pissed at that. then ****ing deal with it, because its being shown all over the world in the media that its ok.. and for the most part people pay high attention to the media wether they mean to or not.. so its shown thats it ok.. so its mixed singles.. if black people want to be pissed when a white person tries to act as if no matter the color we can speak to each other the same (or the other way around).. so if people are going to be pissed off at these racial terms then blame the media and your selves for making it seem ok.. .and that goes for all races..
