Back and Miserable

sorry i dissapeared again, my grandad died and as you can imagine my heart just seemed to fall to pieces. so sorry if im rude to anyone in any threads but as much as i'd like to forget it and think its not on my mind every minute of the day it is because i loved that man. so have some patience with me.

Incidentally, yes, he was a brilliant man.

TOMMYROCKER!

sucks about you're grandfather, i've never had a close relative die. but on another note, I'm glad to see you back!

adidasss 02-26-2006 02:54 PM

sorry about your grandfather. no need to worry about being a dickhead, you always were one and we wouldn't have it any other way...:)

TrampInaTux 02-27-2006 04:01 AM

Yeah welcome back and sorry about your Grandad...

dog 02-27-2006 04:18 AM

heh yea i remember tommyrocker. good lad. both my grandpas are dead. never knew them.

TrampInaTux 02-27-2006 04:22 AM

At least you got to know him, some people live without ever knowing their Grandparents. Maybe you can turn his Death into something positive. I know it sounds awful, but now your Grandad can be a target for you, someone to look upto in his absense.

dog 02-27-2006 04:25 AM

some people would say that not knowing them is a good thing, so you dont get so depressed over it.

TrampInaTux 02-27-2006 04:30 AM

That's true in some respects but also very wrong. I am obviously still depressed over my Dad dying, but then I know some people who don't know their Dad or don't like them, and while it will be easier for them to come to terms with their Dad's deaths, they will also have a big chunk of them missing where that Fatherly love should have been. I would rather have known him to his last breath than not known him at all.
