I absolutely love these. I do like Retro looking trainers and despite rarely wearing any red clothing, I really like red trainers.

I once saw a pair of red Adidas shoes (much different from these) in a shop in Vancouver while on vacation that really caught my eye. They were quite expensive so I didn't buy them. But upon returning home, I search and searched online for these shoes, trying to find them at a better price but couldn't find them AT ALL! Only in blue or black, which I didn't want. All this searching made me realize that I really wanted them and would now pay the price I saw them for at the shop. Obviously the next time I returned to Vancouver a few years later they weren't there. But I'm like you and rarely wear red clothing, seems to attention-getting for me. But I LOVED these shoes. Couldn't remember the name but some 10 minutes of dedicated web searching revealed that they were called Trophy TR. Here they are in black, imagine in red with white stripes. This is the ONE picture available of them online in any color.

Clothing wise I am quite safe and usually stick to Jeans/ T shirt combo in black or white (occasionally Red) but when it comes to trainers I will wear all sorts of colours and designs.

As for the Maiden shoes I am completely torn :(

I would buy them. Even if you end up being too self-conscious to wear them, they scream Collectors' Item.

That's what I was thinking too. Even at Metal festivals I have never seen anyone with a pair on and I constantly check out peoples footwear for some reason and no I don't have a foot fetish.

I was gonna get some flyknits for summer the other day, thought I'd go to bed and do it in the morning, reduced to 70 quid with a code I had would have been about 50. Code didn't work in the morning, was really disappointing.

I would TOTALLY wear these. So I googled them... $90. I can't afford that right now, and even if I could I won't spend $90 on Chucks, even those.

I heard that guy goes by the name Ozzy Osbourne, whoever that is. I think the design just looks like a paint splatter on the shoe.

Yeah I think the Paranoid graphic works best on a shoe. Also, I think black rubber may have worked better on these.

Nothing special, just the latest shoes Ive bought. Ive almost only skated Vans for the last 12 years.

I like that. The colours and the fabric looks quite good. Vans are my favorite type of shoes as well.

Those are awful looking shoes.

I rate a fair few of those. Air Max 1's, suede Puma's and most of the Adidas. Not Stan Smiths though, nothing particularly bad about them just think it might be cos my P.E. teacher wore them.

Yeah the vac techs are smart, in general they are overpriced tat though imo, they look decent for a week or two but wear down way too quickly, and they retail at £100ish?

That's one of the reasons why I like Adidas shoes, can pick up Gazelle Indoors for 50 quid and they last for ages and look mint provided you don't wear them in the rain and ruin the suede.
