I think that greg or Alejo should really consider making a thread where posters can review albums. Kinda like our own little critic corner. Everything would have to be completely on topic, unless you have an album to critique, don't make a thread. Feel free to give your thought on an album that has been reviewed, but don't make requests for an album to be reviewed. As long as everything is uniform, it should be a great forum. The threads should be named like:

Morrissey - Ringleader Of The Tormentors

And everything will be easy to search, I think it is a great idea.

I really don't think anything is that bad here. Same as it always was, but if you hate the lack of activity in certain forums then invite people you know that would post in the forums to join. Quit bitching and do something about it.
I agree, if i'm reading you correctly. It's been quite a while since we've had a juicy amount of band threads come through.

I know especially in the Rock forum it's been like hyenna's to the favourites threads. I mean I like favourites threads, they give a brief veiw of where peoples tastes are at, but lately the balance between favourites threads and band threads is way off kilter. Especially since the bands that are currently on rotation have been done to death (Greenday, Nirvana, SOAD, DT). I think I might go and try to refresh the place a bit in the next few days.

MB just needs a prod.

I don't argue this, what I feel is that Greenday aren't a pop punk band thus not a punk band.

I also dislike being called a she just because I find Ashlee Simpson makes better music than Radiohead.

Lip synchers do tend to perform better live. And they sound SO GOOD!

or...just a suggestion...if someone wants to review a record, they can make a thread about it in one of the several already existing forums. if they happend to put a certain band in the wrong genre, a mod can move it to its correct place.
