Kweer Eye For The Straight Guy

For all women and Adidasss on this forum, I have a business presentation in front of 150 people in 6 hours and I need your help.

How does this look? Would you consider it business casual?? Is it too beach wear or something? HELP!!!!!

minus the ball cap of coarse

adidasss 05-03-2006 09:25 AM

far too casual...if it's a business presentation that is....you might try tucking in that shirt....putting on a tie even....

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 09:28 AM

It is a casual business, everyone else will be wearing golf shirts mostly, And there will be an assortment of bacon and eggers wearing t-shirts

adidasss 05-03-2006 09:30 AM

can i say that i hate that shirt without insulting you?

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 09:30 AM

Is it the colour ??

adidasss 05-03-2006 09:33 AM

or the lack of....i would go for something brownish...but that's just me...and when you don't tuck it in, you just look too immature...

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 09:38 AM

okay, I'll get another.

Hang tight.

This is a pretty decent idea for a thread come to think of it.
Guys getting ready for dates, formal functions, and stuff

Anyhoo, back in a flash

explosions-in-my-pants 05-03-2006 09:38 AM

i would go with a different color shirt, darker blue, black even... yes those colors or even dark red would look nice with those pants. but tuck it in.. but that shirt has to go.. plus it has somethin wrote on it i see? which makes it look even worse.

yah, forgot to mention that...just wear a shirt with a tie...not too formal, not too casual...

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 09:46 AM

How about this one???

Too plain???

http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...p/100_0254.jpg

explosions-in-my-pants 05-03-2006 09:47 AM

no haha.. thats too light.. the pants are too light for that shirt and the other way around.. if you wearing that shirt you should ware black dress pants, if your wearing those pants then you need a darker shirt...

adidasss 05-03-2006 09:49 AM

is there something on that shirt or is that just a tag? actually i think that shirt is ok...if it didn't have that weird thing...

explosions-in-my-pants 05-03-2006 09:50 AM

yes the shirt is ok.. but it wouldn't look go tucked in or with a tie.. and doesn't look right with those pants...goooo darkkker

adidasss 05-03-2006 09:53 AM

what are you talking about , yes it does, they're both brownish...and he doesn't need to tuck that shirt in..it looks fine like this...
what IS that thing on the shirt? it reminds me of the nba simbol...

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 09:55 AM

How about this one??

Too Brokeback Mountain??

http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...p/100_0255.jpg

explosions-in-my-pants 05-03-2006 09:55 AM

doesn't matter if there both brownish there both really light, and doesn't look as good as what it can.

that shirt is ok... bit too fun for something such as that but maybe not.. but still i'd try on black pants to see if that looks better...

go on put on blank pants.. NOW! :)

no..go with the brownish one....that one is like a punch in the face...
dude, do you have like a really dark brown tie? put it on with the brown shirt...just to see what it looks like...

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 10:00 AM

ha ha, I actually laughed out loud

Let me try one more then I have to go to bed, I haven't slept in about 23 hours and I have to be up in 4 1/2

Doc.DGAF 05-03-2006 10:00 AM

(From a business man's perspective)
Nah, if he goes darker he'll look pale as f**k. Open the first button on your collar and wear a white tee under that shirt, or preferably a long sleeved one. That way you look and feel more comfortable and confident doing the presentation, use your own self confidence and personable apperance to inspire others' confidence in you and comfort with you.

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 10:07 AM

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 10:11 AM

Doc.DGAF 05-03-2006 10:12 AM

Personally, if I was pale as you(no offense), I'd throw on some black khakis, black dress shoes with white laces, a dark blue long sleeved over shirt and a white tee.

i really have an aversion to untucked shirts, but as you wish....

MURDER JUNKIE 05-03-2006 10:14 AM

maybe I will wear jeans, the pants weren't much of an issue.

I was going to wear khaki's but for the most part, in most of the pics I was wearing shorts

explosions-in-my-pants 05-03-2006 10:15 AM

make sure you tuck int he shirt murder.. we can't have you out there looking like you just put something on and said thats it.. if you want to look good at least make it look like you tried.. and leave at leats one botten up top open.. can't have it closed all the way it will just make you look and maybe feel nervous

I am not sure I have an appropriate belt, most of mine are of the ghetto fold over buckle style. I am not exactly sure that they would dig my studded one with the Cadillac belt buckle either
