Why do interviews at all if you`re scared of a few 'difficult' questions ?

littleknowitall 05-06-2006 02:13 PM

those were barely questions, just a full frontal assult on a band that thought they we're there to talk about their band..

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-06-2006 02:14 PM

If the questions were so stupid he could have just answered then rationally rather than get worked up & start shouting

littleknowitall 05-06-2006 02:16 PM

he got worked up half way through when he realised the guy had twisted everything he'd said, the guy even says he had him on tape, the guy basically interviewed them with the intent to make them look like ****s and promote his magazine through it, there was no interest in the band, therefore the guy was an aRse...am i the only one who can see that??

and... *drum roll*

c) what with the war in iraq, it can be argued either way and there's a lot of different opinions, you can't just say 'i'm right' , well, you can but you'd just be ignorant if you did.
right now im reading an 11 page summary of why 'bush attacked his own people, and the 9/11 was an american government conspiracy, and there's nothing to say this is true or false, just how i interprite it. i personally find it a little farfetched but i mean seriously....what's being put out by the government isn't NECESSARILY true, and i can't sit here and with such a large mistrust of the press say i'd even form an opinion on the iraq war, if there were nuclear weapons then i think the war was just, and that's MY opinion.

point is the guy wasn't there to interview the band, he was there to enforce his opinions onto a band and take them by surprise so he could make a desperate attempt to twist everything he could into anti-godsmack propaganda, he was a ****...

by attacking iraq ( unprovoked and without the permission of the UN ) the united states has broken half a dosen international laws. that means it was wrong.

wars are wrong no matter what the justification is. sending young americans to die for something that doesn't concern them is wrong. saying that by attacking iraq, the us was protecting itself and the freedom of it's citizens is wrong, there is no such thing as preemptive defense.

musicians shouldn't get involved in politics, godsmack did that by allowing their music to be used to promote the military and it's actions ( to make killing other innocent people somehow more attractive ).

i'm right, you and godsmack are wrong.....see? easy as that...

IamAlejo 05-06-2006 02:53 PM

Allowing the army to use your music in it's commercials is hardly getting involved in politics. Have you seen the commercials? If that's promoting their actions....well, i don't know, but it's not.

And international laws are bs. I won't even get started. The topic is on the interview, and the guy asking those questions was a complete ****hole.

Um, you listen to green day. How is having an anti-military stance different from having a pro-military stance? Double standard much?

I'm with alejo on this, the guy is a total ass.
