it is getting involved in politics, you can't just let the army use your music for promotional purposes without thinking about the implications and cosequences. and he did in fact try to justify america's involvement in the war ( with the same lame ass "they're fighting for our freedom" excuse) thus giving the usage of the music a political background.

and i think the interviewer asked genuine questions, it wasn't his fault that Sully is a dumb fuck and a complete whore who would sell his music to the highest bidder.

I would have punched the interviewer in the face personally, the guy was a complete tool.

Please tell every faggot band that makes anti-political music 10 times more pollitical than this in a very trendy way to shut the fuck up.

Have you seen the commercial? Did you know that surprising as it sounds, you can actually support the troops and not support the war? Lending them the song would be supporting the troops, not pushing a political agenda.

And he tried to justify the actions after the douche started asking question after question and bringing up old quotes of his, etc. The Godsmack guy didn't start the interview with the idea of pushing his political ideas on to others. Unfortunately, the interviewer did.

They aren't right, just not wrong. The fact the interviewer thought he was right was why it was such a fucking stupid interview.

must you? i was insulting one of his previous posts. and they're opinions on the war as long as they're not provoked to publicise them (as they were here) are their own opinions....

If every interviewer had balls like that guy, only bands who don't know what the hell they're talking about wouldn't do interviews.

He may have taken it a little too far, but it would still be nice to have interviewers that do something besides ask the same questions that everyone else does whilst sucking the band members' ****s.

What kind of person calls their kid Sully?
Sounds a bit like slurry which is too close to shit for my liking.
But appropriate given we`re talking about Godsmack here.
