He may have taken it a little too far, but it would still be nice to have interviewers that do something besides ask the same questions that everyone else does whilst sucking the band members' ****s.
i have no problem asking different questions, but he was asking him the questions in order to get HIS OWN point of view out. not the pov of godsmack.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out a musician's hypocrisy or erroneousness. I'd much rather see an interviewer do that than ignore the fact that the the musician's statement was asinine and shove the musician's **** even further down his/her throat.

I hate people like that pussy doin' that interview. He's the type of person that uses other people's hard work to get known. I have mad props for Godsmack, not just for their music, but for what they've accomplished. I gotta give dues to Sully, he kept his cool with that better than I would've.

This guy ain't got balls. He wouldn't have gone on like that to Sully's face, I guarantee that. Hell, I'd bet my bank account to say that he wouldn't go off on me like that.

You dumb ***, the military PAID Godsmack for the song, if it was to promote them they wouldn't have had to pay for it.

How do you know what he was attempting to do? That's right, you don't.

It wasn't a personal attack. The interviewer said nothing about Sully's private life.

That's not an answer, that was generic as f*ck. This guy's got no more balls than any other. In fact, I'd say he was more of a puss for his method. Dude couldn't ask him these questions in person, wouldn't have if givin' the opportunity. He also didn't plan on it to begin with. He knew as well as you do that if he'd of turned Sully's(or any other man's) words on him like that he'd of either got his a** beat right then or once the tape recorder stopped.
