So if a photographer made an exhibition about urban life in the 21st century you wouldn`t consider it art because they just went around taking photos of stuff?

I could consider it photography, as in the process of taking and printing photographs. It is not art. It is void of any artistic merit.

The paintings would be art, but not photographs of the paintings. Photos of paintings are..."void of any artistic merit."

I'd love for you to explain how walking into an art museum and taking photographs of paintings is artistic.

Art: Human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.

Obviously photography isn't art guys.
