my views of the world as it is, and how it needs changing.. an essay by mikey or Tdoc..

the world today looks very bad as compared to the sixties and seventies. but how am i supposed to know, i must live the past through pictures, music, and viseo..i am very studious of this time period, but yet, no i never lived then so yeah... But right now we have this issue with the middle east..iran has nukes....and they want to blow up isreal which is the stupidest thing ever .. i am at a split..i do not want a war.. i hate war.. war is utter failure at resolving anything...also we have a money hungry president running the country..hes the worst president we have ever had.... his policies are ****ed..and my god i know my lifes been affected by it... whats the world come to.. also the redundency of msot religions is staggering, i mean i know you guys think im so weird freak..yeah i like black emtal..but i like it because.. of some of the beleifs... about the stop of the spread of christianity.... ok yes i like jesus.. but you know what i hate christianity... i beleive that jesus would have been happy if we were just peaceful...if he existed or not son of god w/e he was a truly good person.. liek mohatma ghandi..who i witnessed get ridiculed durning my global history class.. thye laughed at him because he would not fight back. as of now ive given up on human life..at my school..my best friend thinks its allright to use racial slurs and i hate that, another thing that i have a problem with, is censorship..i went to get neil youngs new album, but walmart refused to stock it, because it was not supportive of the war, and the president..well **** you walmart..oh and i love how people vote for a president based on their religion **** the cc..ok.. also im sick of plastic people i see people at my school obssesed with how they dres..ia ctualyl heard today " do mi look emo enough" listen its not how you look its how you are, your personality, you are who you are.... and i dunno.. the countries not even america anymore.. so ill be living of water..and at msot rice crackers.. and aforced dinner...which i may jsut give to the dog >.< from now until whenever..id jsut like to add my best friends are online.. and no im not pathetic..they are sme of the only good people i have ever met.... thanks catie, angie, ethan,fal , and all th e others... but yeah,, i hope that everywhere is not like this.. but i dunno.. sorry....

I don't mean any disrespect to your protest, but you aren't even old enough to vote. I really don't see how depriving yourself of food is going to change the world, the US military occupations aren't going anywhere until there is a change in administration. Take comfort in the fact that Bush's approval ratings are in the toilet, approx 70% of Americans are going to vote for change in the next election.

We are living in an incredibly exciting period as the baby boomers are getting older and dying off, which gives way for our generation to make change. It is my prediction that in the next election we will welcome our first female President (Hillary Clinton), and this is just one of the dramatic turns in tide that we will witness in our lifetime.

This however is not an overnight process, if you take the actions of your country that seriously you only set yourself up for a long life of disappointment. Starving yourself will not change anything, perhaps get involved with the next election and volunteer in your city to help the party that you support's local cantidate. You do not have to be voting age to do this and you just may learn more about your political system and the things you can personally do to help.

For God's sake, go to The Sizzler and get the biggest steak on the menu because change will eventually taste delicious

I am a little discontented with the United States as well, thought it isn't in particular for anything they have done recently. Sure, I am against the War in Iraq. The fact that they blamed September 11, 2001 on terrorists is bullsh*t as well, but, we have always been just as corrupted as we are now. The things that I have been reading lately are really disturbing, the fact that the goverment is/was behing programs such as MKULTRA and COINTELPRO makes me boil. The deliberate murder of Fred Hampton and the Black Panthers in Chicago, Illinois is horrendous. These things were happening 30 years ago. The United States didn't begin corruption when George W Bush was innaugurated. The police force, CIA, and FBI are some of the most corrupt organizations in the world.

I'm far from a conspiracy theorist.
Call me what you want, like I said in my edit, MKULTRA and COINTELPRO have been recognized by the government, as have the murders of BPP members. They were both disgusting programs. COINTELPRO being an FBI program, and MKULTRA being a CIA program. And it is undeniable that the police force is racist. Look at Mumia Abu-Jamal, and the murder of Amadou Diallo.
