Summer of Love?

OK, how many of you aren't in love this summer?

Almost everyone I know is all in love this summer, I feel so left out haha.

Is it the same with you guys?

Raine 07-03-2006 10:05 AM

I'm in love with a guy I'm still kinda frustrated wih,

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 10:06 AM

Suckyyy

But love is never easy, is it?

Alo 07-03-2006 10:09 AM

I'm in love too, I was just about to apologize, but I like being in love.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 10:10 AM

Aww I feel so lonely! :p:

To be honest, I really cannot be bothered with boys now. I just want a hug haha.

sleepy jack 07-03-2006 10:10 AM

I just told this chick I was in love with her & i'm pretty sure I am.

Which ruined my would be homoerotic summer with lespaul & moses.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 10:10 AM

Hahahaha surely your woman is better than that?

It has its ups and downs.

But tomorrow's the fourth of july.
I'm gonna see fireworks one way or another. . :)

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 10:16 AM

Hahaha niiiice.

It's really annoying when I go out with my friends becuase they all bring their guys and girls with them, I'm always the single one!

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be that way if I wasn't so fussy...

Mr. Right'll come along. Don't worry about it. Just be patient

And I can't stand to bring my boyfriend everywhere I go. And vice verse. Last year I don't even remember seeing my boyfriend on the fourth of july.
I think he went to some bar with some guys from work and I hung out with family and friends.

adidasss 07-03-2006 10:19 AM

:-/....single...and will be for a while...

The only boys I have been 'involved' with have been 18 year olds with girlfriends in the past year, I don't know what to do!

Being single can have positive sides to it too.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 10:23 AM

Not when you are for a year :'(

Alo 07-03-2006 10:25 AM

Yeah, that is kind of long... No one you like either?

Sound Devastation 07-03-2006 10:25 AM

I suppose the reasons for it being so long are those damn 18 year olds :(

No haha I actually miss 'liking' people.

long distance relationships tend to suck.
even moreso when you have limited physical contact with a person.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 11:53 AM

I find it difficult even being friends with someone who lives in Belfast, which is about 10 miles away, so that must suck a lot :(

Raine 07-03-2006 11:56 AM

^ oh I'm not the one in a long distance relationship.

I was just commenting on how taxing it can be.

The most taxing long distance relationship I've ever been in is the one I'm in now with myf riend who lives in PA. (I live in new York at the moment)
I miss him so much. i call him just about everyday.
But abuot four days ago his phone was off and I left a sh*t load of messages on his phone because I htought he died or something.
He finally answered my messages and called to tell me he was a live and that it was my fault anyway that we can't see each other since I was the one who moved.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 11:57 AM

That is pretty harsh! Real nasty :(

It's hard keeping in touch with all my drama friends, they live all over the bloody country.

Going boy-hunting with one of the ladies on Saturday :D

Boy hunting sounds like potential for something to happen.

And I'm gonna kidnap my friend sometime next week. He's only been to new york three times in his entire life. (I am to fix that. and he's gonna have so much fun)

I'm going dancing/clubbing with my new friend (my neighbor). :)

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:02 PM

I hope so!

I need to get out more, but I could never go dancing or clubbing because I can't dance haha.

I hate dancing but given the right incentive, the right shoes, and the right shirt, I can tear up a dance floor.
Now yoou've got me all excited again. :)

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:06 PM

I'd be too scared to dance, in case I made a fool of myself haha.

Grrr I can't decide what to wear on this boy-hunt, is a mini skirt too slutty? Well, after all it is the summer of love, apparently.

depends on the shirt and the footwear.
if the shirt shows a good deal of midriff,t hen th emini skirt is over kill.

if you're tall and you wear fishnets and you can see wear they stop, then. . maybe.
depends on the occasion though.

If you're tall then wear the mini skirt, no stocking, sandals, and a tank top.
If you're short (5'7" and shorter), wear the mini and a barely there shirt. It should either be short or see through. And ditch the bra, unless the shirt is white.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:12 PM

Well, I'm like 5'5".

I was going to wear the mini skirt, flat pumps and a tight tank top. I could wear a top that looks like underwear, but I was scared of it being too little?

ever hear the phrase less is more?

And I remember what it was like to be 5'5" so I guess the flat pumps will do, a mini, and a tight tank top that shows at least three inches of midriff. Anything higher would be overkill

And we totally forgot to factor in make up.
Are you wearing make up?

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:18 PM

Less is more, love it haha.

Hmm make-up, I like really bright make-up, but I don't think many guys do. What about the whole smokey eyes look?

smokey eyes as long as the skirt is black adn the shirt is a solid says sohpisticated slut to me. And it works.
Bright make up . .
I'd go with dark red lipstick. Or bright red . . . because it'll match but it'll take a little bit outta the punch.

Our goal here is to knock them dead.

And the phrase less is more was probably coined in Florida, where a good deal of people walk around half naked.
I went there one time went to this club type thing, and my friend made her halter top a skirt. Oh my gosh . . it was unbelievable.

Piss Me Off 07-03-2006 12:27 PM

I'm in love, but no-ones in love with me. This has happened waaaaaay to much in my young life....

Oh, and smokey eyes + no bra = :D

Proof that this stuff works.

You're a guy right?

What is better:
smokey eyes and no bra under a white tank top

or mini skirt, and a tank top that doesn't cover much. And it's sheer enough that you can make ou the imprint of the bra

swim 07-03-2006 12:32 PM

Smokey eyes? Can't say that I'm familar with that term. What is it?

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:32 PM

I don't think it would be very comfortable going bra-less :P

A low cut top, maybe?

If you wear a A or B cup going braless is a piece of cake. if you wear a C cup or larger wear a tight shirt if it'll make you more comfortable. ANd still wear the mini.
If yuo go braless also wear the dark red lipstick instead of the bright red.
This is still assuming that the skirt is black

Swimintheundertow:
smokey eyes, is dark eyeliner essentially. Makes your eyes stand out. It works if you have rather pale skin or olive colored. otherwise get eyeliner a shade darker than your actual skin tone. Same desired effective: smokey eyes

Urban Hat€monger ? 07-03-2006 12:37 PM

It`s summer , you wear tiny cut off shorts & a t shirt tied up around your waist.

Would make me happy if a girl wore that out with me anyway :D

If I were dressing to kill.
If it were night out, I'd wear
a short black mini skirt, a white tank top without a bra. and heels.

I can't do the shirt tied around the waist thing. At least not with shorts.

Alo 07-03-2006 12:39 PM

Omg. We all go out in everyday clothing when going to clubs here. What a preperation stuff.

Oh, and the clothes you're describing are slutty like hell. I'd hate you if I saw you here. Guess it's different in the US.

bruise_violet 07-03-2006 12:40 PM

Raine, I'm not A or B haha.

And the skirt will be denim.
