If that's the only way you think you can help your beloved animal community, you're useless already. You could, however, write letters to your senator giving legitimate reasons as to why hunting seasons should be shortened, and also why their should be higher restrictions on hunting. This would be a way, that with a little efort, you could save plenty of animal lives a year. And all you'd have to do would be a little writing and a little research.

I'd wager that you don't care enough to do that, and also that you can't find legitimate enough fact worth writing your senator about. Besides an occasional volunteering at your local animal shelter (which, sorry to bust your bubble, kid) doesn't save anything but your self-esteem, I can't see you taking any action toward animal rights.
