being a designated driver sucks ass

Last night a friend of mine had a huge party, parents not home tons of coolers, cases of schmirnoff and more beer than i could count (well not litterally of course), anyways, I happen to be one of two people who had their cars there that night, so i ended up with good ole sprite while the rest of my friends were getting drunk as hell and having a great time. it sucked.

Well at least you were responsible. I am the designated driver a lot and it's ok. I now drink conservatively. I can handle a little bit before I can't drive and I know my limits. Besides I have fun anyway whether or not I'm drunk. I mean hell, I'm a Jester. That's what we do.

haha, well i guess it was still a fun night, my friends are very entertaining when drunk. one of them was really paranoid his parents would find out, so about half an hour before we left he had just then stopped drinking, around 2 in the morning, started at 10 at night) he asked us all every five minutes if he seemed drunk, if he was talking normally, he actually sobered up quite a bit, until he stumbled up his front steps and ran into his front door. thn the guy who threw th party tried to get us to stay longer, half falling off the stairs and saying "aww comeoooonnn gguuyss, shtttaaayy" slurring his words alot, he didn't even have all that much, but he's a real lightweight. so it was still a really fun night, specially when his older brother (the one who supplied the alceehol) passed out and everyone drew on his face.

Being a DD might suck, but I've never had to do it yet. :P Actually tho, being around drunk people when you're sober is pretty funny too.

It's good that you look out for your friends IMO. Someone has to do it.
I've been a DD for my friends too, but they have been a DD for me in return.

Sometimes being around drunk people is funny, but sometimes it just ticks me off. Once my drunk friend walked into a stopsign and fell down.. I just left him there I was so pissed off at him, he came to my door 3 hours later beat-up and tired.. THAT was pretty funny lol.
