Piercings?

I think alot of them are supposed to grow out, eventually. Eyebrows and navel (although mine hasn't) are supposed to be the worst for it. It's natural, your body fighting to push something out that isn't supposed to be there.

Alot of surface piercings migrate, or reject. I've never heard of a navel rejecting, which is ofcourse still possible as all piercings carry that risk.

My navel piercing is growing out. It's not being rejected per se, it's just that your skin cells are constantly regenerating so there is a risk of all piercings growing out I suppose. The skin in between the opening the end of my bellybutton piercing just gets smaller and smaller. I'll have to take it out soon

Other than that I only have my ears pierced a couple of times! I used to have my nose and lip pierced but I took them out when I had to become 'professional.'

That nose stud is one of those skin-coloured ones for work - the beginning of my selling out!

I've only got two holes in each ear lobe now, boring!

Yeah I am indeed allowed to have any ear piercings I like! I took them out because they kept getting infected/ sore

There's also a teacher at my current placement school who has a nose stud and I've also seen a teacher with a lip ring before... but I took them out by my own accord, I felt as though I out grew them I guess.

I suppose, I agree with you on the facial piercings. But I very much doubt I'll ever take the ear ones out off my own back. I was nearly crying in the piercing studio because i though id have to take my tragus out, like literal tears!
