matters of death and dying
 

what would be the worst way to die, according to you? how long do you want to live? does the inevitable end influence the way you live ( depending on whether or not you're religious of course )?

Worst way to die? In a fire or drowing I would think. And I will probably die in an accident sooner or later, I'd say around 25/30.

I think dying of a long-term disease would be worst. Something like aids or cancer.

Something like fire/drowning is over quick, and you won't feel a lot. Because your body doesn't send pain signals when in such heavy shock. Expecially drowning is said to be a very peacefull death...

I want to die before my body gets all old and un-useable. I'd say around 50 you start going down.

but having no religous beleifs i live as i want to.

Worst way to die: To have my penis cut off, and then be raped repeatedly by a group of fat middle aged men as I slowly bled to death.

How long to live: I'd be happy to live a very long time. I'd like to be old enough to have grandchildren who I could piss off, and beyond that... I've already experienced some nasty diseases in my life involving poor control of bodily functions, dizziness and general physical incompitance and they never really got me down. So I think I'd be quite happy to be an old senile. I can die at 110.

Death doesn't really influence how I live. Except I don't tend to do things that will probably kill me (drunk driving, knife-fighting, smoking). If I really wanted to do something, I'd do it. The idea of death looming doesn't really stimulate or deter me.

Worst way to die would have to be Alzhiemers, you can live for 40 more years with that one

buried alive is probably the worst for me. edgar poe wrote a short named that, my friend says its cool. part in kill bill when uma's in the coffin made me so clostrephobic (wrong spelling). rape is also horrible.

wouldn't like to be a feeble old guy, in a nursing home. id probably die before 40. mid 30s perhaps.

yeah, I think either being buried alive or suffering from a disease that made me unable to do anything, but I stayed alive through it for ages would be the worst. the inevitability and helplessness of it would be terrible. I intend on living till around 90 or so If I'm lucky, and not slowing down too much. You can keep going as long as you keep excercising up until then. after that.. I don't think I'd want to live longer.
