No, because I'd be salaried which means I'd have paid vacation days, paid sick days etc. That would be great. Right now I'm freelancing which means if I'm not working I'm not getting paid, like today for example.

What more do you want to know?

What are you selling? Products or services? I was in the service field and its soul crushing. Its beggary in a suit with a phone.

TheCunningStunt 11-09-2010 09:47 AM

Both, really. Training courses and we hire out our training sweets.
I have a suit and a phone, crunching numbers all day.
I wouldn't mind one day becoming a trainer and/or doing face to face sales meetings. I'm slowly building my way up to that.
So it isn't all bad, I suffer with anxiety from it.
I get the shakes now and again, I get stomach aches and get really hot and sweaty but it's not a bad job really. I just need to push through it and get over it. Good money and I'm all warm in a nice office drinking coffee.
I had a 10 minute conversation with a guy who runs a guitar shop, I told him I had a Fender Tele. So sometimes I have nice chats with people.

Well okay...

Pros: I enjoy having a career where I get to be creative, and generally speaking, I get to work with interesting people.

Cons: I find that a lot of the time clients have extremely strong opinions about design but are completely unable to articulate them. That can definitely make my job pretty frustrating.
