It was just a guess. Because there are a lot of restrictions for new members. Time periods before Avatars etc.

I think the avatar rule doesn't apply any more. A n00b can up one on the first post nowadays.

i kind of liked the 50 post rule for to some point. The bad thing was when noobs were posting like homos just to get 50 posts.
