He is Dean Lerner in the aforementioned 'Darkplace' and who can forget his appearance in the Mighty Boosh Pilot 'Tundra'?

His role is tiny in Nathan Barley but brilliant all the same.

Fun Fact: He also directed Arctic Monkey's video for Flourescent Adolescent!

I hated the Boosh for ages and then i just got it! Although there are a few duff episodes. Darkplace only ran for 6 episodes but that's enough for it to qualify as a true great!

Hmm I may have to check it out in that case. Is it on Youtube or available to stream from anywhere do you know?

Ive only seen the first series of the Boosh so whenever I say I hate it I get told to watch the rest because it gets better. I laughed at the wind criticising him and the viking blokes but that was it. The rest for me was surreal for the sake of being surreal and breaking into song and dance for absolutely no reason as far as I could tell.

Is there usually a good reason for breaking into song and dance?

I only ever caught one or two episodes of that, the DVD is on my wishlist. That was a flop too wasn't it
