I don't find it to be that 'real' of a problem. It's more of a minor inconvenience - minor to the point of being negligible.

Everyone's selfish, everyone's weird, everyone's honest, but those who actually show it are assholes nowadays. That's a problem. That and people taking things far too seriously.

'Proving' something like that would be quite the insurmountable task. What many do depend on is arrogance: the bird-brained belief that one's own opinion is in any way superior to another's, and a fervid reluctance to accept one's own inaccuracies. I'm sure that's something any member of this forum could agree with.
